Advantages Of Screen Printing

Our screen printing technique features a range of advantages, including:

  • Print Sizes: Screen printing is ideal on large print sizes.
  • Coverage: You get better coverage from this technique due to larger ink transfer.
  • Materials: Screen printing can be used on all materials, making it a very popular printing technique in the UK.
  • Cylindrical Items: For surfaces that are not flat, screen printing 360 can be used to brand your promotional items.
  • High-Quality Prints: Screen printing results in vibrant and very detailed prints, especially when applied on darker fabrics.
  • Cost-Effective: Although there is a set up cost involved, once the set up is done, it is relatively quick and easy to print items, especially at high volumes. Screen printing is therefore a cost effective printing method when used on larger print runs.
  • Efficient: This is a fast printing method when creating large quantities of the same design on a promotional product.
  • Colours: Pantone colours but without gradients

Screen Printing Promotional Merchandise

Our standard screen printing method can be used on any products with a flat surface. For cylindrical items, screen printing 360 can be used.

What is Screen Printing?

Screen printing, also referred to as silk screening or serigraphy, is a printing technique that uses a mesh with a lot of small openings to transfer ink onto the promotional item.

A stencil will block certain parts to the shape of the logo. The ink is placed on the mesh and then pushed through the mesh onto the product. Because only one colour is printed at a time, several screens must be used to produce a multi- coloured image or logo.

After printing the item is placed in a drying tunnel to cure the ink to the item.

What is Screen Printing 360?

Screen Printing 360 uses the exact same technique as screen printing, but has specifically been developed to be used on cylindrical items. The promotional item is slightly rotated which results in a round screen print.
